Kimono Lifestyle consultant Keiko Tsuda wears kimono casually 365 days a year. Her approach on Kimono is to be informal enough to be able to walk her dog. Keiko found her passion in kimono after being introduced to the Edo-style colors and patterns by her mentor. She works to share the excitement of her kimono lifestyle with as many people as possible. She is well recognized for her practical and easy methods of wearing kimono, creative ways of tying obi sash and utilizing vintage pieces, and chic and elegant color coordination. When she chooses kimono and coordinates accessories for men and women, her sensibility allows each individual’s beauty and uniqueness to be uncovered.

Another field that has always inspired Keiko is the research of solitude. She promotes the benefits of spending time alone. Alonetime is the source of inspiration for her innovative kimono ideas.

Keiko is a visiting professor at the University of Creation; Art, Music & Social Work. She lectures, writes, and makes appearances on TV and radio.

She has also published several books, including "My Casual Kimono"(2004), "Solitude Power"(2003), "No More Fear of Being Alone"(2001), and "NHK Weekend Japanology Kimono."

She often writes a critique of modern haiku and tanka.
